Job Description
Manage general warehouse staff for efficient inventory and distribution. Supervise all warehouse-related functions, including personnel, inventory, physical distribution, maintenance & record keeping. Suggest improvements in existing warehouse policies and procedures. Aid manufacturing department in scheduling production orders. Supervise checking of codes and unit price. Examine type, size, and weight of various shipments to decide how they can be sent most effectively. Interview qualified and experienced individuals for warehouse job openings. Post all materials and inventory schedules in master file. Correspond with customers, freight systems, delivery agents, etc.
