BAB RIZQ JAMEEL - A Small Mall Chain Specialising in Job Creation
Bab Rizq Jameel centers (locally translated as ‘Gateway to Prosperity’ centers) are retail outlets typically found in small malls and that specialise in creating and providing employment opportunities for men and women.
These centers are tasked to offer financial support for those looking to take on “start-up” opportunities for small and micro projects, to offer loans for vocational training, and to establish and supply job vacancies in both the public and private sectors.
By the end of 2010, ALJ Community Services Programs plans to have 20 branches of Bab Rizq Jameel, providing 30, 000 square meters of retail business operation.
