Sr. Presales Engineer
Descr iption:
The Presales Engineer will be responsible for all technical aspects of the sales process. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of telecommunication technologies (Internet & Data Connectivity), Data Center Hosting & Managed Services, and virtualization technologies. The Presales Engineer is responsible for identifying issues that may affect customer satisfaction and proactively working with the customer to solve the issues. Developing and maintaining relationships with key individuals within the customer accounts and becoming a trusted adviser to these individuals is a key skill required for success.
Will also be responsible for shortening the sales cycle by overcoming technical hurdles and coming up with innovative solutions that address the customer requirements. Drive sales with technical expertise, account management skills, sales ability and a superior customer focus. Senior Presales Engineer must have solid communication skills, sales ability, technical expertise, and work well in a team, or independent.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with sales teams to qualify client opportunities for pursuit, and manage the opportunities through the pursuit process
- Collaborate with project managers to develop detailed project plans and work breakdown for large projects
- Write the proposal / Statement of Work for the customer
- Present the proposal and work in collaboration with the customer to gain commitment to the engagement
- Capture and share architectural IP at the solution level
- Execute proper transition from pursuit to the delivery team
- Work with the Products Management team to improve Mobily service offerings in the market and capture best practices.
- Remain current with relevant technology developments through ongoing training and personal development

Skills & Knowledge Requirements:
- Communication:
o Advanced English & Arabic written and verbal communication skills.
o Must be able to extract hidden or unrealized customer requirements and gain consensus on these requirements with the customer.
o Ability to focus ambiguous customer needs into specific, deliverable requirements.
o Able to develop relationships and communicate with high level customer technical staff.
- Technical Skills:
o Advanced understanding of voice/data/internet applications, communications technology and network design.
o Advanced understanding of technical terminology related to company products & services.
o Requires general knowledge of voice and data communications equipment.
o Advanced understanding of sales cycles and the solution selling process, preferably at multiple levels, i.e., Internet & Enterprise.
o Advanced level presentation skills.

o Advanced analytical skills.
o Must be able to work through complex issues with a methodical approach.
o Advanced ability to graphically depict solutions in a compelling manner.
- Work Style:
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
o Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.

o Must be detail oriented.
- Computer Skills:
o Advanced MS Office Suite knowledge and usage.
o Ability to learn internal company systems, such as Siebel, Granite, and Network Engineer.
- Business Acumen:
o Intermediate understanding of company financial measures.
o Must have an intermediate understanding of telecommunications industry and sales cycles.
- 4 to 6 years experience working in telecommunications with technical working knowledge of voice, data, and transport technologies.
- 3+ years working in Sales Engineering or technical sales role within company or comparable organization
- CCNP or MCSE certified
- Saudi Nationality is preference.
