Accounting manager - For Male - Alqassim

The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes and reporting, cost control, financial reporting, budgeting, and customer billing for a newly established company in the field of food processing and distributing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all transactions recorded properly in the accounting system by taking extra care of data accuracy and completeness and by analyzing account information.

• Ensure proper documentation of financial transactions and timely monthly closing process.

• Ensure compliance with companies’ law, GAZT, GOSI, IFRS for SMEs approved by SOCPA, and any other regulations related to the department.

• Maintain proper and compatible chart of accounts and profit/cost centers for detailed financial information.

• Lead financial audit with internal/external auditors for review and annual audit.

• Prepare 12-month annual budget updated monthly with actual results.

• Assist management with cash flow analysis and forecast and daily bank reconciliation.

• Prepare timely monthly financial reports to management with analysis.

• Review and suggest improvements for internal controls, financial transaction processes, and accounting systems.

• Review financial plans and budgets for cost reduction opportunities and alarming variances.

• Secure all financial records and documentations including electronic records.

• Prepare special & customized financial reports as needed.

• Respond to accounting inquiries from management.

• Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.

• Maintain professional relationships with customers, suppliers, banks, and other entities.

• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable.

• Prepare fixed assets depreciations tables and maintain detailed fixed assets record.

• Participate in periodic inventory process and ensure proper inventory record.

• Review employees’ contracts and timesheets.

• Prepare payroll, advances, and end of service benefits.

• Review and forecast non-Saudi employee’s government fees.

• Initiate and ensure timely and accurate payments of government fees.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' of professional accounting experience in food processing industry or similar industries.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

• Professional certificate is preferred.
