We are looking for (Finishing Supervisor)
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 5 years experience 5 in the gulf region.
Diploma in Civil works or similar.
Knowledge of the latest formworks and equipment.
Highly experienced finishing supervisor working within high quality finishing environment, (multi-storey and high-rise buildings);
• Required to ensure within the team that the finishing trades are at a satisfactory level and executed according to technical specifications;
• Must be able to read blueprints and plans; familiar with the use of innovative finishing materials and methods; advise qualified craft workers on the best way to handle certain tasks.
• Responsible for the efficient use of labor, machines, and materials by the crews, and if required suggest any additional need for resources to perform activities as planned.
• Lead teams of skilled and unskilled workers through their foremen, and extract work on the construction site from them as required;
• Coordination, supervision, and control of finishing sub-contractors, in particular for tile laying, dry wall, water proofing, and painting;
• Plan and schedule work in line with overall construction work schedule, and keep records of the materials used and the progress made on a job; also report on personnel and costs; these records are included in the supervisor's reports to the superintendent/construction manager.
• Verification of bill of quantities, and elaboration of material take-offs for timely material orders;
• Ensure that safety standards are followed during execution of works.
• Elaborate training schedule and tasks for newly hired laborers, and oversee the training
