Accountabilities :
• Monitors the financial performance of the company against budgets so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon
• Financial modelling and project investment proposals
• Financing requirements
• Closing monthly books of accounts
• Monthly and quarterly reports which includes
• Financial Statements under IFRS
• Project wise and department wise detailed profit and loss statement
• Provides ad-hoc financial analysis and validates financial impact of business decisions including, accounting impact, cash flow impact, credit worthiness of customers, profitability, financial risk and tax exposure when needed.
• Fixed asset schedules under IFRS
• Inventory reconciliation
• Customer wise volume report
• Departmental costing using absorption costing method
• Overtime analysis report which shows overtime per project and per department
• Leads the finance functions for Financial Accounting, Billing & Collection, Accounts Payable and Treasury. Assists the team in prioritizing and outlining guiding principles for execution to plan for peak workload periods and optimized deployment for resources.
• Oversees and directs the review of existing accounting policies and procedures, and Finance Systems to define data processing requirements and recommend features for a suitable finance system(s).
Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Finance or Accounting
• An advanced professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent)
Experience:
• minimum of10 years’’ experience, of which at least 3 years in a (team) leadership position
