Job Summary: The Head of Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, drive user acquisition, and increase customer engagement. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the B2C digital landscape, particularly within the social commerce and video content sectors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading successful marketing campaigns, a strong analytical mindset, and the ability to adapt to the fast-paced nature of a tech-driven marketplace.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning and Execution:
o Develop and implement a holistic marketing strategy aligned with company goals and market trends.
o Oversee the creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, leveraging video content to drive engagement and sales.
o Identify and target key audience segments to maximize ***** and impact.
2. Brand Management:
o Build and enhance the brand’s presence in the Saudi Arabian market.
o Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels and touchpoints.
o Develop and maintain strong relationships with influencers, content creators, and partners to amplify brand visibility.
3. Digital Marketing:
o Lead digital marketing efforts including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
o Utilize data-driven insights to optimize campaign performance and ROI.
o Manage and grow the company’s social media presence, focusing on video-centric platforms.
4. Content Strategy:
o Oversee the development and production of high-quality video content that resonates with the target audience.
o Collaborate with the content team to create engaging, shoppable video experiences.
o Ensure a steady pipeline of fresh and relevant content to maintain audience interest and drive conversions.
5. Market Research and Analysis:
o Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
o Analyze marketing data and metrics to measure campaign effectiveness and inform strategic decisions.
o Provide regular reports and insights to the executive team on marketing performance and market dynamics.
6. Team Leadership:
o Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team.
o Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.
o Manage external agencies and vendors as needed to support marketing initiatives.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, E-commerce, or a related field
• Minimum of 6 to 7 years of experience in E-commerce marketing and operations management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Extremely proficient and diligent in digital marketing strategies
• Work experience for a company with at least USD 50M+ of sales through ecommerce
• Strong understanding of the Saudi Arabian market and cultural nuances.
• Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate and finalize deals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English;
