Description:
The Technical Trainers College in Riyadh is the national centre of excellence for practical didactics and methodology in vocational training in KSA. The college is managed and run by the German Technical Cooperation Organization (GTZ) in conjunction with the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC).
TTC Riyadh began its operation in September 2009. The trainees, who are mainly graduates of Colleges of Technology, start their training with preparatory courses in English ********. Their three year program leads to a Bachelor’s degree as an academically qualified “Technical Vocational Trainer”. All training is carried out in English.
Vocational Subject areas ******* - Mechanical Technology, Electrical Technology, Electronic Technology, Business Administration and Information Technology
English Instructors will be required to deliver courses in General, Technical and Pedagogical English to support the Instructional program.


Qualifications/
Experience:


General Requirements

• Native Speaker of English
• Committed, enthusiastic teachers with a proven track record in delivering successful courses at Tertiary level.
• Professional, positive appearance and attitude.
• Ability to work under individual initiative and as part of a close knit international team

• A first degree (in English preferred) + CELTA (or *****alent).
• A first degree with an MA in (TEFL/TESOL or Applied Linguistics) or a one- year, full-time postgraduate Diploma in TEFL/TESL.
• A first degree with basic postgraduate qualifications in TESOL (e.g. RSA/UCLES DELTA or Dip TEFLA).

• Minimum five years teaching EFL/ESL in an institution at tertiary level.
• Proven Experience in successfully teaching Technical English content
• Proven Experience in developing materials for Technical English teaching.
• Experience teaching within the Middle East region, preferably in KSA.
• High level of practical competence in multimedia teaching and learning environments

• Full time two Year contract
• Monthly Salary depending on experience & qualifications.
• round-trip transportation to and from Saudi Arabia from country of origin/domicile at beginning and end of contract.
• Free, furnished compound accommodation plus essential utilities and maintenance or instructors may choose to take a monthly housing allowance and arrange their own accommodation.
• 45 calendar days annual leave to be taken during Semester breaks
• Round trip tickets to country of origin for annual leave
