Market Research Manager-Male & Female
In the early phase of a CMK (Consumer Market Knowledge or Market Research) career, you would absorb consumer, market and / or customer / shopper and business understanding and research skills. Also you enter a phase of learning - on the job as well as via formal courses within the company. Your responsibilities and the Business contributions will include:
1) Understanding the business problem / opportunity, converting it into a research objective.
2) Working with more other managers and expert resources to choose the best research tools and tests to address the problem / opportunity, culminating in recommending research design.
3) Analyzing and interpreting data objectively and accurately and making recommendations on how to maximize potential of the opportunity being researched.
4) Analyzing and interpreting data from secondary / external resources to determine market and consumer trends.
5) Ensuring that internal business partners know what consumers and / or shoppers / customers are saying by proactively seeking, analyzing and sharing learning.
6) Identifying need for additional research and analysis based on the business context.
7) Recommending to the organization the key strategic directions to achieve strong business results based on deep
consumer and market expertise
