An experienced Typ****ter is required to work full- time with the Arabian Journal for Science & Engineering (AJSE) at KFUPM. College I University level education, with courses in Science, Engineering and Mathematics is essential. At least 4-5 years’ experience with computer platforms and peripherals in a scientific publishing environment is also required.
The AJSE is published in English, the applicant must be proficient in written and spoken English, including grammar and spelling. In addition, the technical nature of the material published in the AJSE requires experience in the typ****ting of scientific and mathematical works.

The Typ****ter should have extensive experience with the file formats MS (DOG, XLS, or PPT), LaTeX, EPS, TIFF, POF, inDesign, Photoshop,. . . Candidates will be required to demonstrate proficiency in all such systems.

Minimum B.S. degree (Chemical Eng.) with 10 years experience in refinery / petrochemical plant as operator I console operator. Knowledge of distillation, stripping, adsorption, hydrogenation, furnace firing, pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, fin fans, N2 and H2 generation, and safety. Hands on experience of process control, utilizing distributed control system (DCS).

CONSOLE OPERATORS ( Job Ref NO : O.C.2 )

Bachelor degree in Science and minimum 7 years experience in refinery / petrochemical plant as Console Operator. Knowledge of distillation, stripping, adsorption, hydrogenation, furnace firing, pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, fin fans, N2 and H2 generation, and safety. Hands on experience of process control, utilizing distributed control system (DCS).

INSTRUMENTAL / ELECTRICAL SUPERINTENDENT (Job Code M.E. 1 )

Bachelor degree in Electrical and Electronics with minimum 10 years experience in refinery? petrochemical refinery. Should have good knowledge and experience in Electrical and Instrumentation field including, management, supervision, and coordination of the planning, execution, completion and inspection of the electrical, instrumentation facilities. Knowledge of CMMS.

INSPECTION ENGINEER (Job Code : M.E.2 )

Bachelor degree in Mechanical engineering with at least 8 years experience in a refinery? petrochemical plant as Inspection Engineer. Should have knowledge of international inspection standards, NDT, Tig and Mig welding techniques, Schedules of piping and fittings, Isometric drawings, Catholic Protection and corrosion control, painting inspection, risk— ****d inspection.

RELIABILITY SUPERINTENDENT ( Job Code : M.E. 3 )

Bachelor degree in Mechanical engineering with fluency in written and spoken English with 10 years experience in refinery or petrochemical plant. Should have good knowledge and experience in rotating equipment and fixed equipment inspection field including, management, supervision, maintenance and CMMS.
