We are looking for experienced Chief Accountant to join international company pr***ding professional services, located in Alkobar (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia).

The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of daily operations and for the general financial management and reporting of the practice.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Manage and supervise the accounting activities at the company,
• Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions.
• Supervise that all business operations are in compliance with tax regulations in force in KSA
• Prepare all required by law tax calculations
• Distribute expenditures, encumbrances, receipts and receivables according to schedules.
• Monitor compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and IFRS and company procedures.
• Make recommendations regarding the accounting of reserves, assets and expenditures.
• Conduct studies and submit recommendations for impr***ng the organization's accounting operation.
• Maintain and develop complete “account charts” for the company in general.
• Monitor collection and payments.
• Prepare all types of accounting and finance reports to and delivers them to CEO.
• Perform banks’ reconciliation, financial reconciliation and adjustments, period/year end activities, and accounting reports.
• Monitor the application of all approved accounting systems in compliance with the established policies and procedures
• Coordinate with other departments and sections on the necessary supporting documents and/or data for financial transactions
• Record Company financial transaction and give technical support to branch accountants
• Compile various documents, verifies their accuracy, and authorize payments in accordance with established procedures
• Prepare accounting reports, estimate cost accounts periodically (monthly) and every accounting report requested by the CFO
• Coordinate with the internal & external auditors as per audit plans and programs, and pr***de the needed information and cooperation to perform their tasks
• Prepare statements of accounts for Company
• Direct and coordinate activities of other accountants performing accounting and bookkeeping tasks
• prepare monthly payroll statements

Education Requirements :
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting. CPA is preferable
• previous experience of Financial Management in a large company is essential

Work experience requirements :
• Five to seven years of work experience in an insurance professional environment especially in Life or Protection and saving field.
• At least three of them in a senior accounting position are necessary.

Competency Requirements:
• very good knowledge of tax laws in Saudi Arabia and accounting rules
• good knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS)
• fluent English in speaking and writing is necessary
• Computer proficiency required: MS Office 2000 and accounting systems
