Senior Legal Advisor

الوصف ومتطلبات الوظيفة

Job Purpose

The role holder is responsible for the investigative work undertaken throughout STC which will require quality assuring the reports produced, coaching and supporting investigators and ensuring that activities are carried out within the limits of the operating manual. Recommending improvements to the work procedures is an outcome of the job including the representation of the legal department in committees examining work policies and procedures. The candidate will have had broad experience in investigative work in addition to experience in team management.

Key Result Areas
Plan and manage the STC investigative work activities ensuring that cases are investigated promptly and quality assuring the output to conform to the legal department’s requirements
Assess, identify and outline the functions needs in terms of necessary resources including human, financial and facilities and gain agreement on those
Lead the toughest investigative cases especially those involving high level security issues or cases that may be the subject of much public attention
Participate in committees, report on and put forward recommendations on the improvement of flaws in the current policies and work procedures that may be open to manipulation or are proven to be the target of misuse.
Manage and develop the investigative staff

Knowledge, Skills & Experience
University Graduate in a suitable discipline (GPA must be good and above)
Min 6 years' experience in investigative work and a background in one of STC’s functions
Planning skills
Supervisory skills
Strong and proven written and oral communications skills
Fluent in Arabic and English.
Must be Saudi National (Male)

Framework, Boundaries & Decision Making Authority
Responsible for the investigative work conducted in STC and will ensure the quality and promptness of the service
Will represent the legal department in committees examining possible flaws in the work procedures and policies
Make and gain agreement to recommendations for the improvement of work policies and procedures
