Degree/ Diploma At least 2 to 3 years distributionexperience or another relevant Advanced proficiencies in Windowssuite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint Fluent in English and Arabic, verbaland written Scope of work The Transport Coordinator will beresponsible for the effective day to day running of the entire distribution andoperation of key accounts in a cost effective and highly professional mannerwith strong customer relations. The role requires leadership and ownership ofall activities and KPI’s effecting the transport operations. Responsibilities: The successful candidate will beresponsible for the following primary duties and key performance areas (KPI andindividual goals to be agreed for each element upon appointment): Working closely with clients, suppliers and transport companies Planning the delivery and dispatch of goods Ensure ISO standards are met Analysing data to monitor performance and plan improvements Manage multiple transport pr***ders and relatedcontracts, service and quality requirements Ensure all operational KPIs are met (primary KPI – OTIFand Transport Scorecard). Develop effective relationships with the transporters Assist and convert transporters to a fully utilised webbased solution for shipping Pr***de rate quotes to the Sales Coordinator Ensure adequate archiving and document control within the department Reporting to:
