Schedule training attendees, classrooms and ensure faculty have necessary materials to conduct weekly trainings. Keep and maintain student records. Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities The Center Registrar reports directly to the Center Dean and is responsible for the following duties: 1. To participate in planning, coordination, training and supervision of clerical functions of the Office of Admissions and Records, including records, admissions, and PBX operation. 2. To supervise the work of classified and work-study personnel assigned to the Office of Admissions and Records. 3. To communicate with instructors and other learning center personnel as necessary to maintain accurate student records and to assist in pr***ding and interpreting regulations and student records information. 4. To supervise the preparations of all registration materials. 5. Be aware of any regulations pertaining to the function of records and admissions and assist in meeting and maintaining these regulations and to assist in the preparation of necessary reports related to student records. 6. Be involved in using the computer systems for registration, record keeping, word processing and other data handling functions to ensure smooth operation of the office. 7. To assist the Dean in keeping accurate account of budget expenditures and office inventory. 8. To document institutional effectiveness through appropriate research studies and reports. 9. To assume special responsibilities on assignment by the Dean in relation to other activities to ******* Center marketing activities. Minimum Requirements • Two-year degree or diploma required with evidence of formal training in policy analysis and research preferred. • Two years minimum experience in proposal development with multiple constituencies, program development and coordination with demonstrated technical writing skills. • Two years minimum experience in budget management. • Two years program management and employee supervision experience. • Evidence of strong networking and community collaboration skills. Successful history of strong verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal and facilitation skills used in the mobilization of diverse community partners to satisfy joint agency collaborations as required by funders. • Proficient in MS Office applications and use of the Internet. ------------------------ Receptionist Job Description Job Tasks and Responsibilities • Answer telephone • Take and relay messages • Pr***de information to callers • Greet persons entering office • Directions to persons coming to office • Deal with queries from the public and customers • Monitor visitor access and maintain security awareness • General administrative and clerical support • Receive and sort mail and deliveries • Schedule appointments • Organize conference and meeting room bookings • Maintain appointment diary electronically • Organize catering • Maintain the reception area Education and Experience • Command of English, spoken, written and able to read • High school diploma generally required • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures • Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices Key Competencies • English / Arabic verbal and written communication skills • Professional personal presentation • Customer service orientation • Information management • Organizing and planning • Attention to detail • Initiative • Reliability [/align] |
