ACCOUNTANT & CONTROLLER (M /F)


Axens is an international pr***der of advanced technologies (licensor), catalysts, adsorbents and services (technical assistance, consulting) to the refining, petrochemical, gas and alternative fuels industries. The main scope of Axens’ business is focused on the conversion of oil, gas, biomass and coal to fuels and major petrochemical intermediates.
For our new subsidiary in Saudi Arabia, we are looking for an accountant & controller.

MISSION

You will be responsible for the accounting and the controlling of the financial operations of Axens Catalyst Arabia Ltd (ACAL) (accounting, fiscal & payroll activities).
You will make the companies compliant with all local rules and put the relevant processes in place for regular and accurate accounting and payroll management.

You will report directly to the Managing Director of ACAL and be supported by the financial team in France and USA.

MAIN ACTIVITIES

Responsible for the cost accounting & controlling of the commercial and the industrial activities, your principal activities will be :
* Monthly closing of the plant: review production days, stock variance, utilities and other key production elements. Highlight and challenge any major fluctuation.
* Prepare the monthly manufacturing report and participate to elaboration of financial report
* Prepare the semester statutory consolidation package of ACAL & AME (Axens Middle East)
* Contribution to the industrial consolidated performance indicators
* Analyze the sales & the sales margin
* Establish Budget, Forecasts & Business Plans
* Information system: contributes to enhancing the information system with Corporate management

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

High-school graduated in Business Administration and/or accounting, you have a minimum of 5 years of accounting and “production” cost accounting experience in an industrial environment.
You have the ability to handle multiple tasks and clear willingness to interact with operational staff.

You speak English and Arabic fluently.
You have a good level in computer tools including usual Microsoft Office Tools and SAP.

You are determined and want to be part of a great adventure.
