Training Manager (Saudi Only) Oil & Gas company

We are oil & gas Company (Offshore drilling) in Dammam searching for Training Manager. "Male or Female” who has a good experience (more than 5years) two years minimum in the field , prefer if he/she has experience in oil & gas “Rigs.

Main Requirements:
1- Fluent in English language (Speak , Write & Read"
2-Good knowledge about the Oil & Gas industry & the safety certificates"
3- Bachelor or Master degree.
4- Prefer one who has an experience in Oil & gas field.
5- This vacant is for Saudi national only


Summary of Position:
The Training and Competence Manager will effectively manage training and competency for the Company in support of business objectives. They will ensure that the training and competence strategy is aligned to key business goals, covering all rig operations and office locations.
Duties & Responsibilities (shall ******* but not be limited to):
• Develop training and competence policies and strategy for the Company.
• Articulate vision and manage strategic change in the Company's approach to competence development.
• Establish a focus for training and competence in alignment and compliance with key business drivers and performance indicators.
• Benchmark best practice training and competence processes in pursuit of continuous business improvement.
• Ensure effective implementation of training and competence strategy.
• Ensure effective implementation of policies and procedures.
• Provide advice on Company policies, practices, procedures and legislation.
• Monitor training and competence performance for all Company assets.
• Actively contribute to management meetings to ensure integration of training and competence actions with Company operations.
• Develop training and competence solutions as required.
• Responsible for keeping competence accreditations current.
• Actively contribute to the Company's auditing program.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training and competence processes and procedures.
• Represent the Company as customer interface on all competence issues.
• Develop strategic alliances with external training/competence providers, accreditation bodies.
• Represent the Company through participation in relevant training and competence committees, and chair these as appropriate.
• Ensure appropriate levels of training and competence staff are in place.
• Provide visible leadership and serve as role model to Company employees.
• Mentor, coach and develop employees in meeting Company expectations.
• Develop the Company as a learning organization.
• Lead and manage effectively the training and competence team.
• Develop and maintain own competence.
• Develop and maintain the Training Department budget.
• Provide input to business tenders on behalf of the training & competence function.
• Assist Rig Management in the development of training budget plans.
• Plan, organize and facilitate key annual calendar events for global standardization of performance standards, assessment and quality assurance activities.
• Collect, analyze, and consolidate global and regional competence review data in preparation for Global and/or regional competence Reviews.
• Work collaboratively with Functional Leadership Team, Senior Management Teams and business units in integrating competence management within operations.
• Follow procurement policy and procedures.
• Perform emergency responsibilities as per emergency procedures.
• Actively participate in office based Safety programs.
• Manage Change effectively through participation in the Hazard Management, Stop Work and / or Change and Non-Conformance Procedures.
• Assist in the management of and effectively participate in the SOAR program and encourage others to actively participate.
