we are looking for a talented Phlebotomy Technician to

join our reputable company as per the below criteria.

JOB SUMMARY
He/she is responsible to perform the more complex venipuncture and skin puncture techniques involved in the collection of blood specimens from patients for laboratory procedures used in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Performed a variety of routine and complex blood drawing procedures to includ venipuncture and finger and heel stick, using standard equipment to includ vacationer tubes and sleeves, tourniquets, syringes and butterfly needles.
2. Confer with patients to obtain information for laboratory records, explain procedures, allay fears and elicit cooperation.
3. Inform the patient about any instructions or preparations and council him/her regarding the sampling requirements and result date.
4. Utilize standard procedures for the maintenance of positive patient identification; record appropriate collection information on proper requisitions.
5. Centrifuge, label and store blood samples for subsequent analysis by Clinical Laboratory staff.
6. Provide technical guidance to Phlebotomy students assigned to work area.
7. Maintain inventory of supplies; reorder and stock supplies on carts and hand trays.
8. Make work assignments for Phlebotomy team members; review work of lower rated employees, assist in training new personnel.
9. Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
10. Responsible for all quality and safety issues related to his job.
11. Perform other duties as assigned by lab director.

QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION:

Education:
Work requires an educational background generally equivalent to a health care institute. (High school + Phlebotomy certificate with one year experiences)

PROFESSIONAL WORK EXPERIENCE:
Work requires 2 years of experience as a Phlebotomist.

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
1- Knowledge of phlebotomy techniques.
2- Knowledge of clinic protocols and policies.
3- Skill in efficient and effective draws.
4- Skill in pleasant interactions with staff, patients and others.

Abilities:
• Ability to accommodate on-call shift and weekend/holiday rotations.
• Ability to respond appropriately to instructions.
Scheduling flexibility is required to accommodate changing business needs
