Required
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical degree.
• A minimum of 5 years experience working with and programming Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), specifically Allen Bradley/Rockwell.
• Experience with motor control and plant process instrumentation.
• Experience with development of Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs).
• Experience working in an industrial plant environment (hands on).
• Three or more years of direct automation experience with HMI, PLC’s, and process control system architecture design.
• Previous new facility design experience.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC system components, installation, start-up and programming – current platforms.
• Ability to program PLC ladder Logic.
• Develops or modifies control logic to meet changes in equipment or equipment operating conditions.
• Understanding of related systems, i.e. instrument air, power distribution, material handling and conveyors.
• Knowledge of process/control systems interface to operating/production facilities.
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of an organization.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
• Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Demonstrated mechanical and electrical knowledge and repair abilities.
• Serve as lead on assigned projects or engineering assignments.
• Able to initiate projects from ground up to project completion as well as maintenance of completed systems.
• Willing to perform field work and maintain office responsibilities.
• Works to insure and maintain a safe working environment for self and others by actively participating in safety programs.
