Looking to hire Candidates (Preferably Saudi Candidates) for number of ENGINEERING Vacancies in Saudi Arabia - Al Khobar city, according to the following Roles and conditions :Vacancy Project Engineer - Piping, Mechanical and Controls :About the Vacancy Wood. is recruiting a Project Engineer to further increase the capacity and knowledge base of the well-established Project management department.This will give you the opportunity to work on a wide range of Wood. projects The responsibilities for this role can vary considerably depending on scope and size of Project. The typical responsibilities are shown below To support the Project Manager in delivering the Project Delivery of Deliverables to meet project schedule Expediting of engineering and design work activities to meet the project schedule Integration of design schedule to procurement and fabrication schedules Focus on delivery of engineering deliverables that meet high standards of design integrity and quality Coordination of disciplines and external contractors to execute all scopes of work Development and approval of Engineering Queries and Requests for information Approval of deliverables delegated by Senior Project Engineer /Engineering Manager Focal point for discipline leads for multi–discipline issues that require expediting or resolution Monitor and review engineering progress with Project Services and Engineering disciplines and take action as required to meet schedule, quality and cost objectives Review engineering budgets and performance and initiate control measures including adjustments to manning levels Monitor receipt and review cycle for vendor documents and identify any problem areas To represent the Project Team at Internal and External Project Status meetings Development of Design Change Notices Focal point for interface with construction management team on assigned facilities Manage responses to Site Technical Queries :Skills / Qualifications BS engineering degree or equivalent Previous SABIC experience 10 years minimum experience. Less experience still to be considered if the candidate is having a high potential Preferable chartered engineer and member of recognized institution Proven experience in multidiscipline engineering management within engineering and procurement projects Background and experience in Piping, Mechanical and Controls within Oil and Gas or Production Facilities Experience in Buildings, Civil and Infrastructure will be an advantage Experience in projects from engineering to construction phase Proven experience in managing direct reports in a Project environment Proven experience on Large Projects Coordinates well with engineering disciplines, lead engineers/task force groups to ensure on-time work activities and implementation of project control procedures Proven knowledge and experience in using project engineering practices, design details, and international codes and standards, project scheduling and cost control People management with good communication and supervision skills Team player essential Proven track record in delivery :Vacancy Technical Professional Engineer - Process :About the Vacancy Has experience in the hydrocarbon processing/utilities units, the oil/gas industry or refinery project/process industries Has demonstrated knowledge in the refinery processes and project development, demonstrated experience in the project cycle, review processes, Hazops, design practices, simulations, heat and material balances development, process unit design, equipment design, hydraulic design / calculations, and experience in using design tools, guides, project codes and specifications Has experience in the development of PFD's, P&IDs and all work related to project calculations and documentation development Demonstrates ability to work effectively and deliver requirements in a timely manner Demonstrates ability to work with others Experience sizing relief valves and control valves Experience in sizing equipment Experience with industry standards Assist / prepare process simulations Assist / prepare PFD's with HandWB's Assist / prepare P&ID's Perform hydraulic calculations Assist / prepare process equipment data sheets Assist / prepare instrument process data sheets Assist / prepare relief calculations and PSV process data Prepare process data for line lists Assist / prepare process descriptions and/or study reports To assist in maintaining the departmental quality systems Skills / Qualifications 05 Years’ Experience Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering or Equivalent Occasional field visits, climbing stairs, ladders and lifting up to 25 lbs Potential visits to offshore sites (helicopter, boat) Lifting and carrying things offshore :Vacancy Senior Designer (Structural) - REVIT Experience :About the Vacancy Wood. is recruiting a Senior Designer (Structural) to further increase the capacity and knowledge base of the well-established Structural Engineering department. This will give you the opportunity to work on a wide range of Wood. projects Has experience in the oil/gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, infrastructure industries and has engineering design experience on large projects Has experience with development, enhancement, and maintenance of 3D graphic visual display and modeling work Must have knowledge of engineering practices, design details, international codes and standards, procedures, and specifications Experienced designer with sound technical background and in depth knowledge of manual and CAD drafting techniques In addition to being able to fulfill the responsibilities and duties of Senior Structural Designer, a Senior Structural Designer Engineer shall Assists the design supervisor in coordinating design management with engineering discipline lead engineers Responsible for preparing and review of calculations, design drawings, and other information Supports construction and procurement with preparation of drawings and material take-offs Reviews as-built drawings and assists with collection of design information required by construction and procurement Provide guidance to Designer and CADD operators Conversant with codes of practice, standards and relevant sections of statutory documentation applicable to drafting function Familiar with and competent in planning, progress monitoring, forecasting and reporting for drafting function Experienced in the supervision of discipline designers and draftsmen Able to estimate man-hours and materials for delegated aspects of work Able to liaise with project/lead engineers at all levels Computer literate (database/spreadsheets) Conversant with company and Client drafting standards and specifications Conversant with company quality control assurance requirements applicable to drafting function Skills / Qualifications 07 years’ Experience Advanced Experience in Revit B.Sc Engineering or Equivalent Company Overview Wood is a global leader in the delivery of project, engineering and technical services to energy and industrial markets.
