The Role:
We are currently looking for a Social Media Coordinator to be responsible for the management and growth of CPG social media presence in alignment with CPG objectives. You will be responsible for executing daily, weekly and monthly agreed plans pertaining to improving CPG’s social media presence. You will be expected to create impactful and engaging social media content and plan campaigns that will result in making CPG to be a global leader in the integration of petroleum engineering and geosciences education and research for undergraduate and graduate levels.

Job Accountabilities/Key Responsibilities:
* Generate, edit, publish and share content that promotes CPG presence as well as builds meaningful connections. 
* Assists in creating dynamic written, graphic and video content.
* Creates content that promotes audience interaction, increases audience presence on company sites and encourages audience participation.
* Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews.
* Continuously monitor social media metrics, insights and best practices.
* Assists Digital Facilities Supervisor and its team with projects and events.
* Work as a team member with design team to develop social media content.
* Monitor the social media platforms and produce monthly reports.
* Propose new ideas, creative campaigns and concepts for social media content.
* Attend events when required for live coverage on social media.
* Collaborate with other departments to co-ordinate actions.
*Convert CPG news item/facts into a meaningful and creative social media post/story.

Qualifications:
Degree in Digital communications, Public relations, Marketing or related field (previous experience in a similar role would be an added advantage).


Skills:
* Strong knowledge of social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube etc).
* Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. Arabic communication skills are a plus.
* Creative, deadline driven and detail-oriented. 
*Multitasker and team worker 
* Needs to work well under pressure. 
* Innovative and always looking for new trends / setting new trends. 
* Strong in content writing, communication skills & proof reading. 
* Strong customer service skills.
* Enthusiasm, self-motivated and positive attitude.
* Knowledge of social media and analytics software (Hootsuite, Google Analytics, Facebook Insights etc.) would be a plus.
