we are Addar Chemicals Company located in Jubail Industrial city 1 looking
for: Shift in-Charge as below requirement and responsibilities


Duties and responsibilities

• To take full responsibility of the shift in terms of management of staff, management of production and quality targets and to ensure the smooth running of the production processes.
• To take full responsibility of the quality and product that is produced within the shift in line with the company’s quality systems, processes and SOPs
• To ensure that proper and timely logging of up-to-date process data and material inventory and records are maintained.
• To ensure the safety of Men & Machinery. Shall be able to and emergency situation.
• To adhere all PPE requirements and to ensure all of personnel in all plant areas is being followed.
• To provide training for operation and safety to its sub ordinates.
• Effective interaction with maintenance, instrumentation, store and quality control.
• Calculation of the shift production, efficiency evaluation and raw material consumption
• Ensuring zero incidents in plant operations and issuing standards safety permit for all critical maintenance jobs.
• Manage, develop and motivate direct reporting staff.
• Shall be able to prepare SOP for the operation.
• Monitor, measure and report on production related process performance, general issues
• To ensure good communication is given either verbally or written to all members of staff
• To ensure that Health and Safety rules and regulations are adhered to during the shift and all matters relating to this are dealt with using the resources within the company in line with the companies Health and Safety policy.
• Target and deadlines are met to achieve the ******.




• Problem solving and troubling shooting skills are used to ensure that all team members can identify root causes and take fast effective action to resolve the problems in hand.
• To work closely with other Shift In charges to ensure production handovers are effective communications tools.
• To ensure that the training skills are met for current and future demands of the shift.
• To have an active role in the company’s continuous improvement plan to achieve plans for future growth within the company.
• Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace.
• All employees are responsible for ensuring company resources are used in an effective manner to ensure best operating costs.
• Maintaining high level of timekeeping is of the essence.

Qualifications

State the minimum qualifications required to successfully perform the job. These are the qualifications that are necessary for someone to be considered for the position.

• BE in Chemical Engineer
• Knowledge in Chemical and Petrochemical industries
• Proficient skills of plant DCS system operation
• good problem-solving and analytical skills


Experience

Minimum 6-8 years’ experience in Chemical and Petrochemical Industries


Additional traits

• Shall have very good communication skill in English language.
• Shall have good spirit in team work.
• Shall have good command on MS office.
• to be able to follow written instructions
• the ability to work as part of a team
• good hand-eye co-ordination

• Work in physically challenging environments, with heavy machinery and potentially hazardous chemicals.
• Strict safety procedures and regulations must be followed to minimize the risk.

• Work in Split shift Able to work extended hours on occasions when required. Must be able to work split shifts, attended meetings
• Able to communicate and motivate coherently – both verbally and via written media
• Strict safety procedures and regulations must be followed to minimize the risk.
