Instrument Technician

Critical Skills:
• Check, Examine and Record.
• Comprehend Technical Drawings and Other Visual Instructions.
• Coordination with Multiple Departments.
• Inspect Equipment.
• Install and Dismantle Equipment.
• Maintain Equipment.
• Mechanical Tools, Equipment, and Systems.
• Operate Machines.
• Understanding of Regulatory Requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Follow plant policies and repair procedures.
• Calibrate, troubleshoot, repair and replace process instruments as a part of the plant's maintenance program.
• Maintain process instruments including valves, vibration monitors and other instruments.
• Perform required environmental compliance testing and documentation.
• Reduce cost of repairing equipment while maintaining or increasing the quality of repairs.
• Work closely with plant operations to evaluate both routine and emergency instrument work.
• Wear proper safety equipment in appropriate areas.
• Be able to move in and around process equipment and confined ******.

Requirements:
Academic and professional qualifications:
Diploma in Instrument Engineering.

Experience:
4 - 6 years’ experience in the same field.
