Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Any Engineer categories.
• Diploma in industrial Fire and safety
• Minimum 2 years of experience in oil and Gas
• OSHA / NEBOSH
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office applications.
• Leadership skills necessary to achieve corporate objectives. Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific technical journals and legal documents.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• He shall be capable of developing Project HSE plan and procedures.
• He shall be well aware of ISO 14001-2015, 45001-2018 Standard requirements.
• HE shall be capable of developing, implementing the HIP / JSA, ERP on the project.
• Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of health and safety on the project.
• Evaluate practices, procedures and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the project requirement.
• Conduct training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention.
• Monitor compliance to policies and laws by inspecting employees and operations.
• Monitor Sub-contractor HSE compliance and Control them on all HSE aspects.
• Conduct HSE weekly, monthly and daily tool box meeting as required on the projects,
• Conduct Safety Orientations in house and on projects.
• Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions
• Investigate accidents or incidents to discover causes and handle worker’s compensation claims
• Share lesson learned and safety alerts with the employees and associated operational areas. Check for any such probabilities in the work site
• Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities or new prevention measures
• Prepare weekly, monthly Reports on health and safety awareness, issues and statistics to the Management.
• Plan and Conduct periodic HSE audits on projects.
• Initiate incentive program and appreciation.
• Recommend the company for Safety officers, supervisor’s safety training
• Organize in house training and maintain the training records and plan the training matrix
• Support to acquire safety certification and maintain it.
• Liaise with Project Management Team, sub-contractors’ Project Managers, Construction Managers and
Safety team to improve HSE provisions.
• He shall be reporting to Corporate HSE Manager.
