Job Description:
handling Import / Export Shipments) • Should be capable handling Team consisting of Multinational with a minimum experience of 3 years Team Handling. • Sound knowledge on Customs Documentation and procedures for getting the shipments cleared • Knowledge and awareness on the time-to-time changes in regulations and procedures in Customs clearance / SABER • Strong Freight Negotiation skills (Express / Air / FCL / LCL / Road) • Should be able to Process SABER (PCOC – SCOC / SABER Exemptions) • Strong Written and Verbal Communication skills • Experience in Oracle ERP (or any ERP) along with Inventory Handling experience • Ability to perform multi-Tasking to handle multiple Divisions and JV’s shipments and deliveries Duties & Responsibilities: • Understand the requirement and arrange for Shipments accordingly ( writ Mode of Shipment). • Guide the team in Negotiating the Freight to the competitive price on the finalized mode of shipment. • Verification and confirmation of the Shipping documents (for the purpose of Customs Clearance). • Guide the Team with the Timely Customs Clearance and receipt of the material from Port. • Process the SABER (SCOC / Exemption) accordingly to have the shipment cleared from Customs. • Monitor the Team for the Receiving and Delivery Activities of the Partial / complete orders. • Monitor the Team for the parallel ERP Transactions. • Monitor the Team on the Record maintenance of the Shipped – received – delivered – stock records. • Handle the Shipments related to the Manufacturing / Fabrication Divisions As part of Industrial activity. • Handle the shipments for the Joint Ventures (Trading Divisions as well as Manufacturer / Fabrication) • Handle the shipments for the Projects (project materials) with respective import procedures. • Negotiate the Freight contracts with Express companies and maintain no or low GPI. • Act upon any requirement for the Government authorities in terms of shipment • Maintain the Team Spirit to ensure that Team Performs respective tasks all the time in multiple climatic conditions or pressures • Update the Divisions on the upcoming changes in Customs Procedures / Duty structures SABER regulations etc.…
