Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance to, train & develop staff in Level One to build their capabilities to carry out their work effectively.
- Prepare draft correspondence ****d on general guidelines to be reviewed and finalised by higher Levels to support the expeditious completion of the processes.
- Act as the first point of operational contact for customers in the Branch and Head Office for providing basic level headline information on various services ensuring that all enquiries are handled expeditiously.
- Respond to customers' complaints, resolve minor issues and escalate unresolved issues to the higher Levels, as per the established procedures, to ensure that customer-****d operational issues are tackled expeditiously.
- Receive applications / documents from customers / Branches for services as LCs, LGs, Bills, and cheques clearing and ensure the completeness of application in terms of supporting information, signature and compliance with the requirements to accurately accomplish the work.
- Register, process, and post the applications for various services and obtain approval from higher Level before filing the office copy and releasing the document to fulfil the commitments of the Units.
- Process / monitor follow-up the settlements e.g. post-dated cheques, swift messages, bills payments to ensure timely realisation of payments and report any irregularities to higher level.
- Prepare end-of-the-day report to update the Unit Head on the status of the work completed and also for future reference.
- Balance the entries of sub-books with respective ledgers to ensure that books are balanced and the positions of Branch accounts are correctly depicted.

Key Responsibilities:
- Effect SAR cash payments against a valid instrument / voucher and after proper signature verification / identification as required by the Bank.
- Process urgent Demand Draft, Cashier's Order and Telegraphic Transfer applications.
- Effect cash payment against IRMs (ID payments) against authorised instrument / voucher and after proper identification.
- Accept and process clearing cheques (other than bulk) for PFS and CBA customers.
- Accept CBRs / BCCs / CBPs over the counter after proper checking.
- Exchange of notes and coins for Bank's customers against proper Exchange Ticket.
- Processing of special clearing cheques (both inward and outward)
- Guide customers whenever required, e.g. updating of signatures, addresses, remote banking options, etc
- Ensure that all the transactions, including end of day balancing of cash and Teller terminals, are performed in accordance with the BIM and other Procedural manual / instructions issued from time to time.
- Ensure that cash drawers are locked and system logged off when away from seat.
- Have all vouchers relating to illiterate customers witnessed by the Supervisor and Officer / Executive prior to processing
