BTC1274 - Senior Manager Retail Operations & Development
Business Unit: Batelco ********** Customer Services Country: Bahrain Closing Date: 17-Mar-2009 Purpose: * To plan, manage and control the overall activities related to the Retail Sales & Service operations both Consumers and SEs & Development (Existing & New) at all Batelco’s Retail outlets ensuring achievement of sales targets, efficiency and cost effectiveness, and maintaining the Company’s image and brand to very high standards, so as to achieve maximum customer satisfaction and increased / sustained business growth. * Manage and develop retail teams within all retail shops responsible for achieving set sales targets and for retain and growing consumer market share and for increasing revenues. Develop and implement retail sales strategies and methodologies to up sales teams. Manage retail sales tools and processes to ensure ongoing improvements. At all times, maintain and manage processes that ensue a smooth end-to-end sales and services customer experience. Provides ongoing support to rectify retail shop/staff issues and ensure that there is strong synergy of collaboration between departments. Leads and represents a focal point providing ongoing mentoring advice to all retail teams, thus, oversee various opportunity management and takes the lead on transformation initiatives. * Also to satisfy the needs of customers in the Un– Managed SEs Segments through the sale of a portfolio of customer focused value propositions ****d upon a combination of Batelco’s product portfolio and partnerships developed with third parties and thereby secure maximum profit. Additionally, drive sales through all direct channels and un-managed SE’s Batelco’s retail channel. * Ensure that revenue and business growth is increased /sustained and that sales targets are achieved through the introduction and implementation of effective sales plans and strategies within all the Company Retail outlets, and the unmanaged SEs. * To be responsible for developing retail channel strategies, coordinating the planning and implementation of these strategies, reporting performance vs. targets, and addressing any variances, * To develop and implement plans relating to the transformation of all Batelco existing Customer Sales & Services Centers into Retail Shops as well as establishing new Retail outlets in line with the Company’s Channel & Retail Strategy and Objectives. Responsibilities : * Develop, produce, coordinate and monitor sales objectives, plans and targets for each retail shop to meet the overall sales target/revenue, yield, and growth and marketing targets in line with corporate objectives. * Work closely with the Product & Marketing Managers to ensure that all products are productised and sales collateral is in place. * Coordinate the development of monthly sales targets against high end profitable products for individual retail shops to meet and exceed the overall sales objectives and targets. Monitor progress against targets and implement corrective actions to minimize any gaps. * Proactively identify new retail development opportunities in terms of both, developing new outlets or redesigning or reallocating existing ones in line with retail strategies. * Ensure that Batelco’s policies and procedures relating to products and services, sales processes are applied and adhered to. * Develop new value propositions with marketing and manage programs to retain and obtain customer loyalty. * Ensure an appropriate al******** of resources across all retail shops. * Ensure the success of transformation management initiatives over all retail shops and functions. * Maintain an up to date knowledge of local, regional and international trends in retail sales, marketing and solutions best practice. All relevant best practice knowledge is to be shared with other sales channels/managers. Qualifications: * University degree or *****alent qualification. Experience: * Retail and sales experience is essential. * Knowledge and experience of best-in-class sales strategies and methodologies. Skills: * Fluent and articulate in written and spoken Arabic and English preferred. * Highly driven by targets * Thorough understanding of business, commercial and financial processes and the information systems required to support them. * High level of intellectual ability. * Analytical strong skills. * Fluent, concise and articulate in written and oral communications. * Confident, proactive and co-operative approach. * Responsible and mature attitude. * Logical, methodical, conscientious and meticulous. * Ability to cope with a high pressured and stressful environment. * Leadership, people and management skills & capable of inspiring team to achieve exceptional results. * Performance driven, ability to up skill teams and fully focused on driving and delivering results. * Exude Passion, Drive and Presence, relentless and driven with. uncompromising commitment to team and its goals. * Great problem-solving skills.
